This administrative position is on the Dollar General Sales Customer Team at the Procter & Gamble Customer Business Center located in Nashville, TN. The Dollar General Marketing & Team Administrator will support the Sales customer team in areas of marketing, budget tracking, stewardship, scale event tracking and execution in addition to administrative & office support for the P&G Dollar General Team Sales Vice President. The customer team skill set is a competitive advantage for P&G and enhances the retailer - P&G relationship.

Important Responsibilities

  • Budget tracking & stewardship, including ownership of bill payment processing and tracking in company system. Develop and manage short and long-term budgeting to achieve objectives; manage budget fluidly based on real time results.
  • Create purchase orders in a timely manner, manage payment, and provide goods receipt for all scale marketing campaigns. Receive proof of performance for each campaign and verify as needed.
  • Enter all marketing promotions into the system accurately and own the relationship with agency finance teams to ensure invoices are received and entered accurately and timely.
  • Build VP’s capacity and effectiveness via ownership of processes within daily operation and planning. This includes calendar management, travel arrangements, email management, and daily agenda material preparation.
  • Ownership of planning for meetings the VP owns or co-owns (agenda creation, presentations, logistics, ad hoc needs, etc.). Lead logistics and execution for critical customer visits and total team meetings including monthly team meetings, offsite team meetings, and external customer meetings.

Job Qualifications

We believe you would be an excellent fit, if you have:

  • A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent. College degree preferred but not required.
  • Previous experience as an Administrative or Executive Assistant.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and projects, good oral and written communication skills, and strong interpersonal skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, thoroughness and follow-up, strong organizational skills; must be able to set priorities and work independently.
  • Ability to interact with senior leadership, multiple business organizations, and external organizations while maintaining high regards of confidentiality.
  • Strong technical skills and a proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and collaboration technologies; generating documents/presentations.
  • Ability to manage a demanding workload, and balance self-managed task/projects along with executive management support needs.

Starting Pay/Salary Range: $64,000 - $88,700

Compensation for roles at P&G varies depending on a wide array of non-discriminatory factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, degree/credentials, relevant skill set, and level of relevant experience. At P&G compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. Total rewards at P&G include salary + bonus (if applicable) + benefits.
