Master Personal Trainer

Position Overview

We are seeking a passionate and motivated Master Personal Trainer to join our dynamic team. The GYMGUYZ Master Personal Trainer serves as a senior-level fitness professional responsible for delivering personal training sessions, mentoring other trainers, and ensuring the highest quality of client service and training standards. This role involves program development, staff education, and maintaining brand consistency across training services. You will also play a role in driving new business for the company. Building rapport with prospective clients during assessments is essential, allowing you to confidently present our services, address concerns, close sales, and actively drive new business. Additionally, you will be a mentor and train team members, contributing to their growth and development. Position starts part-time and will build to full-time.

Responsibilities

Personal Trainer

• Conduct one-on-one fitness training sessions with clients in their homes or other designated locations.
• Develop customized exercise programs based on clients’ fitness levels, goals, and preferences.
• Design creative workouts, including using varying GYMGUYZ equipment and techniques, to safely challenge and maintain client engagement.
• Conduct initial assessments and reassessments.
  
  

Mentorship & Development

• Onboard, mentor, and support personal trainers within the franchise.
• Conduct regular training, workshops, and performance evaluations for staff.
• Serve as a role model in professionalism, service delivery, and client care.
  
  

Program & Quality Control

• Monitor and maintain quality control over trainers, training sessions, and client programming.
• Ensure compliance with GYMGUYZ fitness protocols and safety standards.
• Collaborate with management to update and improve training methods and client engagement strategies.
  
  

Business Support

• Maintain appointments in scheduling app.
• Perform Assessments and Reassessments, and close sales.
• Drive new business through various marketing efforts.
• Promote the GYMGUYZ brand to prospective individual and business clients.
• Support local marketing efforts through participation in fitness events, demos, and workshops.
• Assist in community outreach to build brand awareness and client acquisition.
• Attend monthly team meetings and other duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications

• Nationally recognized personal training certification (e.g., NASM, ACE, ACSM)
• CPR/AED certification
• Minimum of 2–5 years of personal training experience, is preferred but not required; at least 1 year in a leadership or mentorship role.
• Previous sales experience in the fitness industry.
• Genuine passion for helping clients reach their fitness goals.
• Strong knowledge of exercise techniques, anatomy, and nutrition.
• Specialized Backgrounds a PLUS (e.g. Senior/Youth, Pre/Post-Natal, Adaptive, Yoga/Stretch, Sports [Pickleball, Tennis, Golf, etc.], etc.)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to motivate and inspire clients.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
• Flexible schedule, including availability for early mornings, evenings, and weekends.
