Responsibilities
We are looking for a talented and motivated R&D Software Engineer to join our Agile software team. In this role, you will lead or be a strong contributor in the R&D team. You will design, develop, test, and debug software features, products, and tools for Keysight’s flagship System-level design and simulation software, SystemVue. You will participate in the full software lifecycle of requirements capture, investigation, product definition, design, implementation, test development, testing, and maintenance. As a hands-on technical leader, you will mentor other engineers and resolve complex technical issues.
This position is located in the growing metropolis of Atlanta, GA or alternatively in the beautiful city of Santa Rosa, CA, conveniently located fifty miles north of San Francisco.

Qualifications
Essential:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering
- Minimum 5+ years of R&D experience in Product development
- Experience in developing a significant software application
- Experience with C# and .NET framework.
- Experience with C++ and objected-oriented programming
- Experience in debugging software systems using an IDE like Visual Studio
- Advanced and broad knowledge of contemporary software design methodologies and programming techniques.
- Excellent team player, responsive and accountable
- Self-starter. Willing and able to quickly learn new applications and technologies
- Linux experience
- Test driven development experience
- Scrum agile software development process background
- Atlassian tool experience - GIT, Confluence, Jira
