Position Summary
The Remanufacturing and Dispatch Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the mill’s dispatch operations by coordinating and processing remanufacturing orders for cut-to-length softwood. This position serves as a critical link between sales, operations, and logistics—ensuring timely production, inventory accuracy, and customer fulfillment.
This is a growth-oriented position designed for individuals seeking to launch a long-term career in the lumber industry. Direct lumber experience is not required, but a demonstrated ability to manage ERP systems, strong communication skills, and proactive attention to detail are essential.
Key Responsibilities
Create and process remanufacturing orders for cut-to-length softwood stock.
Monitor inventory levels of key stock items required for remanufacturing.
Notify leadership and purchasing teams of low inventory levels and forecast potential shortages.
Evaluate material usage and maintain optimal stock levels.
Communicate upcoming orders and production schedules to cut-line employees, saw operators, and yard personnel.
Track production status of in-progress orders and ensure alignment with delivery timelines.
Provide dispatch with timely updates on estimated time of completion (ETA) for remanufactured orders.
Monitor unbilled orders, verify material availability, and assess delivery readiness.
Ensure data integrity within ERP system and assist with order status reporting.
Coordinate with purchasing and sales departments to align production with customer demand.
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum typing speed of 35 WPM
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
Proven experience working with ERP systems (such as DMSi Agility, Epicor, NetSuite, etc.)
Excellent communication and task coordination skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree or some college coursework
Experience Using DMSi Agility Or Other Lumber-related ERP Systems
Background in manufacturing, dispatch, or inventory management
Knowledge of softwood lumber products or interest in lumber operations
