The role is hybrid and a day shift role; this position will be predominately remote but will also require travel to our Maternal Fetal Medicine clinics as needed.

Experience in Women's Care (outpatient or inpatient) is preferred. Referral nurses are responsible for reviewing an average of 30 incoming referrals to Maternal Fetal Medicine daily. RNs are responsible for coordinating referrals to the appropriate provider schedule based on diagnosis, along with clinically reviewing existing patients to optimize templates and prioritize based on clinical need. RNs will also be responsible for reviewing records prior to a patient consultation with the Maternal Fetal Medicine Department to identify any additional clinical needs.

Job Summary

The RN Clinical Nurse I/Ambulatory provides professional nursing care through skillful assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the ambulatory, outpatient, and Medical Group practice settings in accordance with policies and procedures under the supervision of the supervisor and manager. The RN Clinical Nurse I/Ambulatory will assist in maintaining a safe work environment and performs all related job responsibilities in a safe manner. Maintains clinical and professional competency as appropriate to the population of patients served.

Collaborates with healthcare consumer and other key stakeholders in the conduct of nursing practice.
