Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join our finance team. Reporting directly to the Corporate Controller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial health of our organization. This position is responsible for overseeing accounting operations, compliance, audit, tax, and system enhancements.

You will work closely with the finance and accounting teams, providing financial insights and ensuring strong communication and collaboration across all departments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and commissions.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP standards and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain internal controls monthly and quarterly close, cash management, and financial reporting accuracy.
• Assist with cash flow forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and transparency.
• Coordinate external audits and help manage relationships with auditors (BDO).
  
  

Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Serve as a key advisor on structuring financial operations.
• Partner with HR and legal teams on benefits reviews, insurance renewals, and compliance matters.
• Optimize financial systems and processes, leveraging technology (e.g., NetSuite) for efficiency and scalability.
  
  

Process Optimization & Compliance:

• Define and implement best-in-class accounting policies and procedures.
• Ensure financial systems and controls support scalability and align with company growth objectives.
• Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, automation, and reporting accuracy.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills:

• SaaS company experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related.
• CPA certification strongly preferred.
• 3-5+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance, preferably with a mix of public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and corporate experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP standards.
• Proficiency in NetSuite, Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Proven experience in managing audits, tax compliance, and cash management strategies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
