Sr Analyst, Online Merch - Dropship - #306785

Position Purpose:

The Sr Analyst, Online Merch - Dropship will be responsible for driving the execution of and supporting operations for new, innovative, and strategic online selling concepts, site features, and functionalities.

This individual will work with cross-functional team members internal and external to The Home Depot to contribute to the discovery, planning and execution of these new online merchandising initiatives.

The Sr Analyst, Online Merch - Dropship will be responsible for determining the prioritization of initiatives, performing business analysis and developing KPI reporting to ensure sales and profitability are in line with strategic and financial plans.

The Sr Analyst, Online Merch - Dropship will also be responsible for understanding and communicating the impacts of these initiatives on other business areas.

Key Responsibilities:

• 40% Conduct & present analysis to inform project team and online merchants to drive intelligent expansion of strategic selling initiatives by conducting analysis, providing informed assessment of business case, & executing strategies to achieve business objectives.
• 30% Manage day to day operations for select selling concepts.
• 20% Measure business performance via execution of key weekly and monthly reporting; seek out opportunities to continuously improve reporting efforts.
• 10% Assist with business case development for expansion into new online merchandising concepts/ capabilities.

• This position reports to the Manager, Online Merch Concepts.
• This position has 0 direct reports.

Travel Requirements:

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• MBA or equivalent work experience in retail, merchandising, or a consulting/ project management role in a corporate environment, preferred.
• Demonstrated ability with business modeling capabilities using tools such as SQL, Excel, Access, and Tableau and advanced proficiency with other Microsoft Office programs.

• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
