Requirements

What does my day-to-day look like?

• Working closely with families in implementing strategies related to how to understand and manage feelings, learning to interact effectively with family members, helping the family to understand how best to support the youth, and making referrals and linkages to services and supports.
• Meets twice weekly (or as otherwise indicated) with the family to implement skills-development strategies in a home-based or community setting (outreach)
• Provides support to the family in carrying out the safety plan and accessing crisis support as needed
  
  

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in the human services field from an accredited university & 1 year of relevant experience
• Must have knowledge of diagnoses, community resources, parent education, and child/family-serving systems
