This position demands a robust understanding of Supply Chain omnichannel fulfillment, encompassing e-commerce, retail, and wholesale order processing. Supervisors are expected to possess exceptional problem-solving abilities and excel at multitasking in a production-centric environment .

Supervisors are expected to possess exceptional problem-solving abilities and excel at multitasking in a production-centric environment .
Role Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures, fostering compliance and professionalism.
- Conduct start-up meetings to communicate department expectations and maintain clear communication channels.
- Coordinate day-to-day work activities to optimize efficiency and achieve operational goals.
- Provide necessary tools, training, and support for safety, quality, cost, and people key performance indicators for the department and building goals.
- Cultivate a positive work environment, instilling ownership and accountability among team members.
- Maintain fiscal responsibility within the distribution center, controlling labor and supply costs.
- Inspect work quality and accuracy, ensuring adherence to standards and driving continuous improvement.
- Cross-train employees to enhance skill sets and promote operational flexibility.
- Identify and nurture candidates for promotion and succession planning.
- Collaborate with management and cross-functional teams to address operational issues.
- Review individual performance and attendance, providing constructive feedback and counseling.
- Address employee needs in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
- Assist in other departments as required, demonstrating flexibility and commitment.
- Promote and maintain high standards of maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned, contributing to overall operational efficiency.
Role Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years of experience in fulfillment, distribution, or manufacturing.
- Proven ability to communicate, support, and motivate teams to achieve operational goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Analytical mindset for tracking and reporting departmental production.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint).
- Experience working with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and HRIS or data reporting tools such as (Sterling, Manhattan, WCS) Kronos, Qlik Reporting, etc.
- Exhibit effective change management skills and serve as a strong role model for the team.
- Stand and walk throughout a shift
- Climb, balance, kneel, crouch, or crawl for extended periods
- Reach, pull, push, and lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes, and weights up to 50 pounds
- Operate warehouse equipment safely as required for the position (i.e. pallet jack, box cutter, carts) which requires coordinated movements
