Job Description

The Vice President Chief Development Officer for Kaleida Health is responsible for the strategic leadership and operational management necessary to achieve the goals and direction of Kaleida Foundations. The Vice President Chief Development Officer oversees all fundraising initiatives to maximize fundraising revenue and impact in support of the Kaleida Health. This Vice President is responsible for staff and program development. Areas of emphasis include other assignments as directed by the Chief Financial Officer and President & CEO of Kaleida Health.

Education And Credentials

Bachelor's degree in business, education, philanthropy or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.

Experience

Ten (10) years’ experience in fundraising or related field required. Five (5) years’ management experience in fundraising or related field required. Ability to develop relationships and committed donor networks preferred. Leadership and values-based competencies to include an immediate credibility as a leader with presence, reflecting professional expertise, poise and understated self-confidence preferred. Healthcare fundraising experience preferred.
