Trelleborg Medical Solutions is seeking a Vice President Human Resources to join the team. This position is a strategic business partner to the BA President in managing HR functions throughout Trelleborg Medical Solutions (globally), managing consistency in policy and procedure execution across all facets of the organization, supporting organizational change (structure & process), ensuring talent acquisition and development is successful to meet growth targets, and oversees the performance management process, as well as ensuring consistency in compensation and benefits packages. This is a key role in employee engagement through coaching and advising management team through challenges with people development, retention, and attraction.

Salary up to $250,000

Tasks And Responsibilities

  • HR Strategy development and execution for the business unit
  • Accelerating Results (being agile and effective and always improving – performance management, acquisition integration, change management, developing excellence culture)
  • Organizational design (contributing to the design of the organization and resource planning as we grow or contract with the market; creating a change management culture to align with growth targets)
  • Prepares and coaches the organization on succession planning; ensures talent acquisition and employee development strategy is aligned with stakeholders
  • Supports the organization with change management; employee communications and employer branding
  • Compensation and Benefits (ensures the organization is competitive, works with Regional HR Leaders and Trelleborg Group as necessary for alignment); ensures timely competition of performance management, annual merit and bonus payouts.
  • Engaging People (developing a high-performance culture)
  • Ensures team meets required governmental and company reporting requirements
  • Collaborates with internal and external legal counsel to ensure that Trelleborg’s best interest in HR matters is considered.
  • Ensures compliance matters are investigated and recommends outcome based on findings.
  • Assists in the due diligence of acquisitions; ensures employee compensation and benefits are addressed smoothly per the outcome of the acquisition and timing to meet requirements; along with any other related acquisition support requirements
  • Provides BA reporting of key metrics and ensures data integrity with the means at hand.
  • Other tasks assignment by management to support Trelleborg Medical Solutions, the Americas regional HR community and Trelleborg Group.

Education And Experience

  • 15 years of experience in Human Resources, with a minimum of 5 in an HR leadership role
  • Experience with a global organization, international experience
  • Manufacturing experience required, Medical a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources or related field, Masters in an HR related field a plus
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, global environment with a matrix organization
