Warehouse Assistant and Driver - #309102

Overview

Deliver supplies to vessels, coordinate all shipping and receiving, and organize and track inventory. There will be other duties assigned by shoreside staff.

Responsibilities

• Run parts and various errands to assist Operations and Engineering.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn the oil transportation and maritime industry.
• Assist in yard facility maintenance.
• Organize and track inventory
• Assist in projects as directed.
• Drive company vehicles and forklifts.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Create and maintain a maintenance program for Centerline Altlantic Fleet vehicles
  
  

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining tugs and barges preferred.
• Possess mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to work with others using courtesy, tact, and good judgment.
• Ability to understand and execute complex oral and written instructions.
• Ability to work independently with minimal or no guidance.
• Ability to work with office staff and vessel crewmembers.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all sensitive communications.
• Valid State driver license and clean driving record.
• Obtain First Aid and CPR training within 60 days of hire.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid TWIC card within 30 days of hire.
  
  

Job Condition and Environment

• Frequently required to board tugs and barges in a safe manner with proper PPE.
• Work in warehouse, maintenance yard and onboard vessels in all weather conditions.
  
  

Expected Hours of Work

• Normal office hours are 0700 to 1600 Monday through Friday.
