We are developing a data-driven modeling platform that takes large-scale datasets such as omics and predicts the microbial responses to different growth conditions.

What You’ll Do
- Develop probabilistic modeling or ML platform for data-driven model discovery.
- Create computational pipelines that automate the design-build-test-learn cycle for precision design of microbial strains.
- Collaborate frequently with the Metabolic Engineering and Synthetic Biology teams to optimize sugar polymer biosynthesis pathways in the production strains.
- Communicate methods and results both internally with the team and externally with other scientists, industry executives, and academic researchers.
- Contribute to the generation and documentation of intellectual property
- Passionate about sustainability
- Excited to be part of a fast-paced startup
- Ph.D. or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related fields.
- 3+ years of research experience in an academic or industry lab setting.
- Skilled in software development, ML techniques, and probabilistic modelling.
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment.
- Large-scale data analysis expertise.
- Experience in -omics, synthetic biology, and molecular biology is a plus.
