As an early career Scientist, you will bring your scientific skills to our team that is responsible for developing methods to support our internal lentiviral vector programs. Key Responsibilities:
- Implement routine testing for lentivirus programs to support the analytical needs of the Process Development and Discovery teams using cell-based assays to detect vector-driven protein expression and integration.
- Communicate scientific data and information effectively through presentations, protocols, test methods, and reports. May contribute to the writing and review of regulatory submissions.
- Minimum associate’s degree in a science related field with 0-5 years of relevant experience.
- Biopharmaceutical industry experience preferred. Demonstrated competency and experience with characterization of viral vectors using cell-based, molecular (qPCR/ddPCR) and traditional biochemical methods.
- Experience with flow-cytometry and cell culture is preferred
- Experience in developing procedures for use in cGMP facilities is preferred
- Effective communication skills, collaborative skills and demonstrated leadership in providing integration of activities and delivering information across multifunctional groups is required.
- Strong commitment to on-the-bench experimental work
- A strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills; to independently design, execute and troubleshoot experiments; and analyze, interpret, and clearly communicate complex analytical data
- Highly organized with a strong attention to detail, clarity, accuracy and conciseness.
