Position Overview

Diamond Baseball Holdings is seeking a strategic, dynamic, and results-driven Vice President, Ticket Sales to lead the ticketing vision and execution across all sales channels. This senior leader will be responsible for developing and overseeing the organizational strategy that drives ticket revenue growth, maximizes attendance, and strengthens long-term fan retention. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Vice President will serve as a key member of the senior leadership team, playing an integral role in shaping the team’s business success both locally and across the DBH portfolio.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the long-term ticketing strategy, aligning with organizational objectives and market opportunities to drive year-over-year growth in all ticketing categories
  • Build, lead, and mentor a high-performance sales team by hiring top talent, setting clear expectations, and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and professional development
  • Personally drive high-level ticketing business development, maintaining an active presence in the marketplace and serving as a senior-level closer for key accounts
  • Partner with the General Manager and executive team to establish and monitor departmental KPIs and revenue targets, ensuring alignment across sales, marketing, and customer experience functions
  • Guide the development of dynamic sales campaigns, pricing models, and inventory strategies that maximize both yield and volume across full season, partial plan, group, and premium seating
  • Implement a data-driven sales culture by evaluating individual and team performance, providing consistent feedback, and leveraging CRM tools to inform decisions and improve sales processes
  • Collaborate with marketing and partnership teams to drive lead generation, increase conversion rates, and deepen fan engagement through targeted outreach and events
  • Stay abreast of league-wide and industry trends in ticketing, fan behavior, and technology, bringing forward best practices and innovative approaches to fan acquisition and retention
  • Prepare and deliver regular reporting to the GM and ownership on sales performance, pipeline status, and strategic initiatives
  • Perform other duties as required to support the goals of the organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sports Management, or related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in ticket sales or related revenue-generating role, including 3+ years in a sales leadership position
  • Proven track record of designing and leading successful ticketing strategies that exceed revenue and attendance goals
  • Strong background in both B2C and B2B sales, with hands-on experience across full season, group, premium, and corporate sales verticals
  • Experience with ticketing platforms (e.g., Tickets.com, Ticketmaster, etc.) and CRM systems
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing teams
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presentation skills
  • Deep knowledge of fan engagement, data analytics, and modern sales methodologies
  • Collaborative leadership style with a commitment to organizational success and employee development
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
